What are the Fiber Termination Boxes?

Fiber Termination Box also be called FTB in the field of fiber optic commnunication. FTTH FTB is suitable for fixing the end of fiber and splicing the fiber pigtail, meantime it protects fiber splice tie-in and helps to distribute fiber. Fiber termination box is mainly used in telecom equipment room or network equipment room.

Fiber termination box generally refer to the box shape fiber optic management products used to protect and distribute the optical fiber links in FTTH Network. Usually the fiber optic box includes the fiber optical patch panels and fiber optic terminal box. Fiber optic patch panel is bigger size, fiber optic termination box is smaller. Actually there are too many fiber optic boxes and fiber management devices, they are hard to count the types, many manufacturers will make the fiber optic boxes according to their own design and they may give the fiber optic boxes different names and model numbers.

When the fiber pigtail wiring is uncertainly use or not (Do not use), it can be set into the tray follow the alignment ring way, wait until then to use when loading the pigtail connector outside the box, so that it can be connected directly with the terminal equipment instead of adapter(flange) connection. If the customer require to install two adapter (flange) in one box. It will be more convenient to operation.

Our FTTH FTB provides clear demarcation points, separating fiber cables coming into building or from riser into each floor and cables going into customer premise. Compartment is available for optical splitter storage.
